Tibet and Surrounding Lakes, Rivers, and Mountains
Some of the largest rivers on the Asian continent have their headwaters in this area: the Brahmputra, the Indus and the Ganges. But notice that the lakes are not the source of any of them. The lakes are in an enclosed basin and do not drain to the outside.
